Over 47 million Americans own a smart speaker, according to a January 2018 survey. Of those, nearly 72 percent own an Amazon Echo device.

Alexa-enabled devices are great for playing music and answering almost any question that pops into your head. What many people don’t know is that these devices also allow you to control areas of your home with your voice when linked to an Alexa Smart Home Group.
